Squid Tubes Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cleaned squid tube
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 basil leaves
  • 1 tomato
  • Oregano
  • Parsley
  • Sea salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Mince the garlic and put in a bowl. Add the olive oil, and half a lemon, juiced. Whisk until well mixed.
  2. Cut strips in the squid tube that are ¼ inch apart, but not cut completely through.
  3. Add the garlic marinade, and rub into the squid. Season squid with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  4. Over medium heat, add the squid to a frying pan, and cook 2 minutes per side, then put on a plate.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to the pan, and cook one tomato, sliced in half, face down for three minutes.
  6. Put tomatoes on the plate next to the squid, and garnish with oregano.
