Dear Dan, Well, the party was a great success, despite the weather. We had torrential rain and wind which did keep some people away so the head count was only about 50 people. But a good time was had by all. The shrimp were wonderful and the Langostino's made a teriffic seafood risotto casserole for which several people requested the recipe (hope I can remember what I did). Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all your help and your wonderful seafood. Oh, the king crab legs were great but a bit too messy to deal with so I will forego them next year and try something else. Will contact you late November/early December to place my order. My Mom lives in Montana and it is hard to get Fresh Red Snapper with the head in the midwestern states. Red Snapper is one of her whole time favorites. We live in Colorado and when we ordered through you to send the various fish for Christmas to my Mom - you were so professional and attentive. I’ll never forget you said to me– “if it is for MOM…then it had to be perfect.” PERFECT it is!!! My Mom said the Red Snapper were cleaned, de-scaled, delicious, and it reminded her of great memories having dinner with her Mom and Dad as a child back in the Phillipines :>). She also said the Halibut steaks were beautiful and delicious and she can’t wait to sink her teeth into the Mahi-Mahi and Swordfish Steaks. My Mom said you are the BEST!! Thank you so much Dan for your professionalism, care, and for making this a memorable Christmas for my family. We will definitely order through you again. I am SOOO happy that you guys offer Omstead Smelts. I grew up in an Italian home and every Christmas eve since childhood we ate Omstead Smelts...living in Texas it is virtually impossible to find them. It was better than GREAT! Thanks for a great service. You will hear from me soon again…… we eat fish 5 days a week … and now that we found this… maybe it will be 7 days a week. In Europe we eat much more fish than here in USA …. Of course Seattle is known for great seafood…. Matt Hi Dan: The Tuna was great. I found your site after trying to locate some wild local Tuna. Here is Louisiana we normally get our Yellow Fin Tuna at Whole Foods, in either New Orleans or Baton Rouge. I live a distance from both cities so I began to search the Internet and found you and called and spoke with someone in your Seafood Dept. He was very helpful and explained your Tuna is fresh wild caught. Locally we can only find Indonesian and Tuna from Viet Nam, and its frozen. Thank you and I will be placing another order in a couple of weeks. Larry

The langos were absolutely delicious. They made the paella something special indeed. All arrived exactly as you described, and were the sweetest langos I have ever had. I will definitely repeat this purchase. The clams were good too - although I confess a few were broken in shipment ... no big deal though, and definitely no worries. I told many where I got the langostinos. One of my guests in fact, claims that her father has eaten a fish sandwich at your market at least once a week for years. Hey Dan! Everything was excellent. The smelt was a killer fish fry for my crowd and the smoked salmon and blind robins were also a hit. Most of all, the pickled herring was great.
